The Mānuka Taper is simple, timeless, and versatile. Being a regular table candle size it will fit in the majority of standard candle holders. With the elegant taper and the warm scent, it will become a solid favourite. These are our ‘everyday’ candles that we use at home. We have them lit at dinner up until bedtime, the warm glow creating a gentle transition from light to dark.
As each candle is made by hand at home, from start to finish, colours can vary slightly as every blend of colours we mix is completely unique.

Creating coloured candles was something we always wanted to do but with so many toxic dyes out there we were apprehensive to head down this road. We are very pleased that our 100% Beeswax candles are made with a tiny amount (around 0.5%) of specially formulated non-toxic vegetable and mineral-based pigment and the white is purified pressure-filtered beeswax.

Beeswax is made by honeybees building combs in their hives. Beekeepers extract the honey from the combs and they are left with the wax, a beautiful by-product of an incredible process of nature. No waste and sustainable.
Not only that - beeswax is said to have a completely clean, non-toxic burn that releases negative ions into the air which bind with toxins and help remove them from the air. It also lasts - beeswax has been found in ancient Egypt in tombs dating back to 1550 B.C. A pretty good expiry date then.
Also, I have heard that the colour of the light that is emitted from a beeswax candle flame is the same spectrum as the sun! Now that’s impressive.
In candles, beeswax burns longer and without soot- better for you, better for your kids and most definitely better for your white walls. They also drip less, smell good and are a beautiful colour all by themselves, completely naturally.
