Beeswax Mini Pumpkin Candle

$24.00

These mini beeswax candle pumpkins are autumn in candle form. So warm and cosy, they look lovely along the centre of a table with other things from nature. This year my garden grew pumpkins all by itself from seeds the kids had given our chickens. It was amazing to see them growing up walls and the sides of the hen house, such strong vines!

-

The ice crystals glitter, a magical sight, as the pumpkin basks in the new daylight. A symbol of Autumn, so serene and plump, adorned with a crown of frost, on its rump.

The fields awake, and the day begins, Nature's cycle, where the new life spins. But for a moment, in the early morn, The pumpkin and frost, in beauty, adorn.

Beeswax is made by honeybees building combs in their hives. Beekeepers extract the honey from the combs and they are left with the wax, a beautiful by-product of an incredible process of nature. No waste and sustainable.

Not only that - beeswax is said to have a completely clean, non-toxic burn that releases negative ions into the air which bind with toxins and help remove them from the air. It also lasts - beeswax has been found in ancient Egypt in tombs dating back to 1550 B.C. A pretty good expiry date then.

Also, I have heard that the colour of the light that is emitted from a beeswax candle flame is the same spectrum as the sun! Now that’s impressive.

In candles, beeswax burns longer and without soot- better for you, better for your kids and most definitely better for your white walls. They also drip less, smell good and are a beautiful colour all by themselves, completely naturally.

In an increasingly fragile world- beeswax is 100% natural and a renewable resource. The beekeeper we work with -Russell, and his team in the South Island NZ, are dedicated to educating and upskilling budding beekeepers and looking after generations of bees with passion and care.

If the bee disappears from the surface of the Earth, man would have no more than four years left to live.” Albert Einstein
