Beeswax Avocado Candle
I had to make an avocado candle! The range of different shades and hues the skins turn as they ripen is so amazing.
I wanted to create a set that could re-create the feeling of waiting for the perfect day to open the avo you’ve been holding out for! The gentle squeeze each day to see if today is the lucky day, and the future planning we do as we choose avocados in different stages and shades of ripeness so we can enjoy them throughout the week.

Beeswax is made by honeybees building combs in their hives. Beekeepers extract the honey from the combs and they are left with the wax, a beautiful by-product of an incredible process of nature. No waste and sustainable.
Not only that - beeswax is said to have a completely clean, non-toxic burn that releases negative ions into the air which bind with toxins and help remove them from the air. It also lasts - beeswax has been found in ancient Egypt in tombs dating back to 1550 B.C. A pretty good expiry date then.
Also, I have heard that the colour of the light that is emitted from a beeswax candle flame is the same spectrum as the sun! Now that’s impressive.
In candles, beeswax burns longer and without soot- better for you, better for your kids and most definitely better for your white walls. They also drip less, smell good and are a beautiful colour all by themselves, completely naturally.
